Staff Development

Fusion Heating strives to be the employer of choice within its sector.  Fusion is committed to offering its employees opportunities to gain qualifications and develop new skills. Our focus on training applies to everyone in the company.

To assist our people to fulfill their potential, each member of staff is supported by their line manager to work together to identify and discuss training needs.

We are justifiably proud of the quality of our staff and we have an ongoing programmed of training opportunities to assist our people in developing their knowledge and skills base.

Some of our training achievements and awards are listed below:

  • Shortlisted for the Department of Employment and Learning Employer of the Year Award 2008
  • All operations staff achieved Gas ACS qualifications
  • All oil engineers successfully completed OFTEC 101
  • All apprentices trained to NVQ level 3 standard
  • All operatives CSR trained and registered
  • All staff inducted prior to commencing work
  • External programme of essential skills offered to all staff outside of the workplace
  • Site supervisors undergoing Institute of Leadership and Management level 3 Award
  • Administration staff supported with paid time off work for ongoing training
  • PNG Growing Business of the Year Award 2009
