Fusion Heating Ltd has produced a DVD for use after the installation of a new gas heating system. The aim is to give the new user a simple and clear description of the component elements of the new system and how to use them safely and efficiently.
The system has been specified using simple energy efficient controls which can clearly be demonstrated through the use of the DVD.
The DVD is left with each tenant after the completion of the their heating installation allowing them to support the instruction given to them by our installation team at the time of handover.
The DVD is not aimed to reduce the amount of time Fusion spends taking each individual customer through the installation process, but does give the user an easy reference tool throughout the lifetime of the heating system
As this concept evolves Fusion is already working to produce the DVD with sub titles and incorporating signlanguage for user with hearing difficulties.
The DVD has been used on a Installation site for Trinity Housing Association in Clements Court in Londonderry and the future rate of response calls generated around tenant misunderstanding will be monitored to help maximize the benefit of the DVD.
